Landscaping Students Put Finishing Touch to Habitat House

FCTS is proud of its partnership with the Pioneer Valley Habitat for Humanity organization. With great pride, students from the carpentry, plumbing/hvac and electrical shops boarded a bus daily to their "real world classroom" on L Street in Turners Falls, turning an empty lot into a lovely home. With the family in residence late winter of 2009, teachers and students wanted to be sure to give the home its final touch with a nicely established lawn when the weather was right. So, with Spring finally here, Instructor Mark Amstein and his landscaping students quickly turned the bare ground into an emerging green lawn. What a transition their work gave to the yard. Great job landscaping!
