Powder Puff
Powder Puff Football Game!

November 21st turned out to be a wonderfully warm day, perfect for the first ever Powder Puff football game between Franklin County Tech and Pioneer. The teams were in game form, supported by their enthusiastic cheerleaders, coaches, announcers, mascots, booster club, family, friends and fans. A special touch to the day was the collection of canned foods for an area food bank. The pile of food grew as the crowd grew.

The game was hard fought, and in the end, Pioneer came out the victor. But the FCTS girls gave it their all. From the sidelines, spectators witnessed the determination in both teams -- and some seriously fast running! Supporting the team were the wildly entertaining Cheerleaders! Clearly, a lot of work went into their choreographed routines -- great job guys.

So, to the girls who were so determined, while your cheerleaders got the laughter from the audience, and rightly so, you earned the admiration from the crowd for your hard fought efforts. From the beginning to the end, the Powder Puff players ran hard, threw long and put their hearts and muscles into a crowd pleasing football game.
