Juniors in the Culinary Arts Program
showcased their research and cooking skills by holding an International
Day where foods from countries around the world were prepared.
Along with their fine skills in the kitchen, students had to research "their" country,
prepare a display board with interesting facts on culture and
geography and do a computerized presentation. The proud students
served up their cultural creations to sophomore culinary students,
the culinary arts instructors and to administrative staff.
Students stood by their stations and answered questions about the country they studied and the meal they prepared. The consensus of
all who attended was that it was a culturally enriching activity with GREAT TASTE!
